  1. mutum ko dabba ko dai wani abu da ya tsufa sosai. <> Become old in years or appearance.
  2. a tsofe lafiya, a raba da k'aya, <> an expression, used to a person who has obtained a new gown = may you live until it is fit only to be flung on to (shared with) a thorn-bush; may you prosper until it is worn out.
