1. {v.tr.2d}.

  1. (a) Pound all of t.; pound completely. {da+ko/+ (2e.v); da"ku+ (3a.ii)}. e.g. ta/ d. fura, she is pounded all the fura.
  2. (b) kaya ya d. shi the heavy load has given him torticollis and exhausted him. (Cf. daka I.1(a.ii) and daka III q.v.)
  3. (c) Destroy spermatic cords of goat that it may become fat. (= dandak'e I.3.)
  4. (d) Devour a very large amount of food.
  5. (e) Conceal by covering with the hand; misappropriate balanc of sum. (= dafe III.2.)
  6. (f) an d. bakin tsanya da ta'barya the discussion is at an end, there is nothing more to be said. (lit. the cricket's hole has been obliterated by being pounded with a pestle.)
