waƙe, (song) waƙa <> (countable) A poem is a group of words written or spoken as an art. Usually, a poem has a rhythm. Many poems rhyme (have words that end the same), and some poems repeat the same first sound in a word (called alliteration).
I have written some poems.

The poem was very beautiful.
