This life is so short and so very fleeting. The akhira (hereafter) is a reality. Jannah (heaven) is a reality. Meeting Him is a reality. Meditate on these truths as much and as frequently as you can. And as you remember and reflect upon these truths, know that the fastest way to connect yourself to them is to practice visualization. There is a reason why there is so much imagery in the Qur'an, meaning God gives us so many details of jannah (heaven), meeting Him, the day of judgment.. etc. These details exist to stimulate our imagination.
