Mu duba kalaman hikimar magabata

Tare da sallama muke buɗe wannan fili, kamar yadda mu ka saba. Jama’a kamar yadda mu ka faro daga makonni biyu dasuka gabata, yau za mu ci gaba da ninƙaya a cikin kogin falsafa da hikimomin azancin kalaman magabata. Domin kuwa, kamar yadda muka faɗa a baya,akwai alfanu mai yawa da za mu tsinta daga irin waɗannan kalamai. Ko babu komai,kalamai ne dai da suka samo asali a sakamakon zuzzurfan tunani,ko kuwa ta sakamakon wani darasi da aka tsinta,a sanadiyar gogewa da al’amuran rayuwar yau da kullum. Ba tare da ɓata lokaci ba, bari mu lalabo kaɗan daga cikin irin waɗannan hikimomi a wannan makon.

Kamar yadda na shaida mu ku a baya, duk wani kalami daya danganci azancin Magana ko Karin Magana, to babu shakka sai ka samu tasirinta da azancinta.Kamar kowace Karin Magana, wannan ta sama ma, tana da fa’idarta da mana’arta,wadda kuma da zarar mutun ya yi nazarinta,zai gane ma’anarta da kuma amfanin ta, musamman idan ya sanya darasin da take koyarwa cikin aiki.

A taƙaice dai wannan Karin Magana ta sama tana nuna mana cewa mu bi a hankali wajen gudanar da dukkan wani al’amari da za mu tunkara na rayuwa. Kuma tana nuni da cewa mu sanya haƙuri wajen aikata al’amuran mu.Kowane aiki ka sanya gaba, kada ka ƙagara,ka ce ba ka ga sakamako ba, ko kuma ka ce za ka raina kaɗan. To wannan Karin Magana tana yi mana ishara da mu bar yin rainuwa, domin da kaɗan da kaɗan ne abu ke taruwa ya zama mai yawa.Idan har yanzu ba ka fahimce ni ba, to ɗauki ma’anar karin maganar ta zahiri, sai ka isa garin Ɗangani, Idan an yi ruwa, a ranar ne gulbin unguwar su ke cika? Na san za ka ce a’a, to idan ka lura, za ka ga cewa sai an ɗauki lokaci, yau da gobe ana ruwan sama, sannan sai ka wayi gari gulbin ya cika ya batse. Idan kuma ka ɗauki rayuwar mutun kansa, shima za ka ga an fara haihuwarsa daga jariri, a hankali yana ƙaruwa har ya koma babban mutun. Kenan ba a rana ɗaya ya zama haka ba. To haka al’amarin rayuwa yake, komai da sannu-sannu yake samuwa har ya zama wadatacce. Don haka idan kana kasuwanci, to kada ka raina riba,domin idan kana adanawa,yau da gobe sai ta bunƙasa,ta zama mai yawa. Wata karin magana mai kama da wannan ita ce, wacce aka ce, sannu ba ta hana zuwa, sai dai a daɗe ba a je ba. Kusan ma’anar su ɗaya, kuma abin da suke karantarwa kusan irin ɗaya ne. Wato mu sanya haƙuri da dangana da abin da muka samu.

Sai bango ya tsage ƙadangare ke samun wurin shiga

Kai tsaye za mu duba azancin wannan kalami,kuma babu shakka akwai tsagwaron ma’ana a wannan magana. Kamar yadda aka sani dai ƙadangare bai da gidan kan sa, kuma yana da shakkar shiga inda ya fi ƙarfin sa. Kenan sai ya samu asirka a jikin bango, sannan zai shiga har ya yi barci. A rayuwarka ta ɗan adam, za ka ci gaba da zama mai mutunci, idan ka ɗauki matakan kare mutuncinka.Kuma babu wanda ya isa ya keta maka mutunci komai ƙin ka da yake, har sai in ka zubar da mutuncin naka da kanka. Babu wanda ya isa ya kawo maka raini,har sai in ka raina kanka.

Wani misali da zamu kawo a nan shi ne, idan kana zaune a wuri, sai aka ce ga doka an kafa, kada wanda ya sake shiga wancan ɗakin; wanda kuwa ya shiga, to za a wulaƙanta shi. A nan, idan za mu bi ta wannan karin magana, to sai ka hana bangonka tsagewa, wato don kada wani ƙadangare ya samu asirkar shiga. Ma’ana shi ne,sai ka tsare mutuncinka, ka bi doka, ka ƙi shiga wannan ɗaki. Idan ka yi haka, ko akwai wanda zai wulaƙanta ka? Babu,saboda ba ka karya wannan doka ba. To haka al’amarin rayuwa yake, kai da kanka za ka kare wa kanka mutunci, ta yadda za ka bi dokoki da ƙa’idojin da suka dace.

Kamar yadda muke samun saƙonni game da wannan fili, cikin wannan makon, wani bawan Allah ya turo da sakon tes,yana yabawa da abubuwan da ake tattaunawa a wannan filin. Duk da cewa malamin bai rubuto sunansa da adireshinsa ba, amma za mu buga saƙon nasa. Ga abin da yake cewa:

Assalamu alaikum, Malan Bashir, Allah Ya saka da alheri. Filinku na Sinadarin Rayuwa yana amfanar da mutane. Allah Ya ƙara basira, amin. Allah Ya sa ‘yan sandan mu su dauki irin darussan nan, amin.

Let’s look at some old-fashioned words of wisdom

We open this program with our greetings, as we always do. People, as we began two weeks ago, today we will continue delving into the subject of philosophy and the meanings of old-fashioned words of wisdom. And as we were saying before, there is much wisdom that we can gain from these kinds of words. If nothing else, it is words that get at the origins of our deepest thoughts, resulting in a lesson that one picks out, a result of always rubbing at life’s matters. Without wasting any time, let’s pursue a bit from these kinds of issues for this week.

From drizzle the pond fills up.

As I explained to you before, every one of these words corresponds to the sense of Speech or Proverb, and without a doubt you will get its influence and its sense. Like every Proverb, the one above has its own use and its own meaning, and as soon as a person studies it, he will understand its meaning and also its usefulness, especially if he puts the lesson that it teaches into the process.

Briefly then, this Proverb above shows us that we precede slowly in all those matters that we encounter in life. And it shows that we have patience in tending to our affairs. Whatever activity you place before you, don’t be too eager to say you don’t see the result, or to say that you’ll underestimate a bit. So this Proverb gives us an indication for us to let go of underestimating, because it is little by little that things come together and become plentiful. If up to now you don’t understand me, then consider the literal meaning of the proverb, until you arrive at a place of simple understanding: When it rains, does it take a day for the neighborhood pond to fill up? I know that you will say no, but if you pay attention, you will see that if you give it time, and it rains today and tomorrow, then in the morning you’ll see the pond is full to the brim. And if you consider the life of a person himself, you will also see that in his case, one begins with his birth as an infant, and slowly he grows up until he becomes an adult. It’s not in one day that he becomes like this. Well, this is how the matter of life is, everything takes a long time to come to fruition. Therefore, if you are in business, and you don’t belittle profit, and you are careful at saving it, it keeps on developing day after day until it becomes plentiful. Another proverb that captures this is, as one says, “‘Slowly’ won’t prevent you from coming, it’ll just take longer for you to get there.” [“Slow and steady wins the race.”] Their meaning is nearly the same, and what they teach is nearly the same. That is, that we should have patience in relation to the thing we are looking to get.

Only when the wall cracks does the lizard find a way in.

Let’s pause and take a look at the sense of these words, and without a doubt there is a palpable meaning in this speech. As you know, the lizard has no home of his own, and he is reluctant to enter somewhere that exceeds his strength. So when he comes across a hole in a wall, then he will enter it and go to sleep. In your human life, you will develop into a reputable person if you take steps to defend your ireputation. And there’s nothing that will come to divide you from your reputation, if you refuse to let it, unless you throw out your reputation yourself. Nothing will come to bring you contempt, unless you have contempt for yourself.

Another example that we’ll consider here is this: if you are living in a place, and let’s say there’s a law passed against entering into a room again, and someone enters, well, he’ll be treated badly. Now, if we go back to this proverb, then you should prevent your wall from cracking, lest some lizard finds a hole to enter. The meaning is this: that you should protect your reputation and follow the law, by refusing to enter that room. If you do this, will there be someone who treats you badly? Not at all, because you haven’t broken that law. So it is with the affairs of life, you yourself should guard your own reputation, by following the appropriate laws and regulations.

Hausa Hausa Meaning English Meaning
Alfanu Wannan na iya nufin mai girma, mahinmanci, riba ko galaba. This could mean importance or advantage but in this context it is more like importance.
Ƙagara Damamme ko rashin hanƙuri To be anxious or impatient.
Ishara Koyarwa Teaching a lesson or something/ situation to learn from.
Yin rainuwa Rashin girmamawa To disrespect or disregard.
Sai ka isa garin Ɗangani Sai ka samo amsa ko sai ka gano ma kanka. Until something is found out or until you find out (literally means until you reach the city of discovery).
Ya cika ya batse Ya cika sossai. This a popular saying in Hausa and it means that something is full to the brim or that some one is extremely angry.
Sannu ba ta hana zuwa sai dai a daɗe ba'a je ba. Wannan karin managa ce mai nufin komin nawar tafiya ana isa inda za'a. This is a Hausa proverb that means a 1000 mile walk starts with a step(Literally means a slow pace will not stop you from getting to a destination or getting there).
Tsagwaron ma'ana Babbar ma'ana ko ma'ana mai muhinmancin. There is a deep or obvious meaning.
Ƴan sanda Masu tsaron ƙasa. Police officers.
Ninƙaya cikin kogin falsafa Watau eyo a cikin kogin hikimar wani abu This is a Hausa Proverb that means swimming deep in the stream or river of a certain Philosophy.
Sannu bata hana zuwa Wannan ma wata karin magana ce mai nufin da ahankali ake isa wuri mai nisa. Another Hausa proverb that also refers to a journey of a thousand miles that starts with a step and no matter how slow one it is going, the destination will surely be reached.

Hausa proverbs are widespread and common features of African languages that are often richly poetic with imagery as one of its dimensions. They occur in both songs and poems. The Hausa definition of proverb is itself a metaphor for the phenomenon “Karin magana” which means “folded speech” in the work on ellipses in Hausa proverb. Clifford Hill (1972) points out that the “Karin magana“ differs from what is known as Western proverbs in its greater complexity. Sections of Hausa proverbs are also believed to closely interact with each other through varied types of correspondence of identical elements across sections.
