Mai haya: Ana sallama!

Mai gida: Marhaba; shigo.

Mai haya: Barka da yamma Hajiya.

Mai gida: Barka kadai malama, ga kujera, zauna.

Mai haya: To; na gode.

Mai gida: Madalla! Yaya dai? Mi ya kawo ki nan malama?

Mai haya: Ni baƙuwa ce a wannan garin. Ina zuwa nan da zama saboda aikina. Akwai wani gidanki; bayan gidan likita babba; ina son hayar shi ne.

Renter: Greetings to the household!

Landlady: Welcome. Come in.

Renter: Good afternoon, Hajiya.

Landlady: Fine, thanks madam. Here, have a seat. Landlady: Great! How do you do? What brings you here, madam? Renter: I am new to this town. I am moving here for my job. Behind the main hospital there is a house that belongs to you; I would like to rent it.

Mai gida: To barka da zuwa garinmu. Gidan yana yi miki?

Mai haya: I, yana kusa da wurin aikina. Ina ganin kamar wadatacce ne, kuma akwai ruwa da wuta. Ɗakuna nawa ne gare shi?

Landlady: There are five bedrooms in total, each with a fan. The big house has four bedrooms and two bathrooms, an interior kitchen, and outside there is another kitchen and a small storeroom. Adjoining it, there is a small house with one bedroom, and a living room. It also has a small bathroom. The rent is 80,000 CFA per month.

Mai haya: Ana iya rage kuɗin Hajiya? Akwai biyan wuta da ruwa.

Mai haya: Yaushe nike fara sa kayana?
