I. [ki/ma"].
1. {adj. and n.m. or f.; pl. ki/mo/mi/}. A small one; a small quantity. wannan kima ne ba k'ato ba ne, this is a small one, not a big one. 'debo mini ruwa k., get me a little water.
2. {n.f.}. (Ar.) Assessing, making an estimate of, e.g. the price or value of an article, or of the damage done by cattle in a farm &c. ya/ kawo abin k., he has brought an article (usually to a court of justice), the value of which will have to be assessed, in settlement of a debt or fine. (Vide kimmanin; kimmar.)
3. That which is correct, becoming e.g. wa/ne ya/ san kima, so-and-so behaves becomingly. (Cf. da'a.)
II. [kima"] {v.tr.2c}. Put on large turban, kerchief, &c. e.g. ya/ k. rawani; ta/ k. fatala.

1. Spoil e.g. food, kola-nuts. (= kime.)
