The sixth day of the week, fifth and last of the secular and Christian work week, and the day of rest for Muslims. Friday afternoon is the beginning of the weekend. <> ranar Juma'a ko Jumma'a.
1. Yã kũ waɗanda suka yi ĩmãni! Idan anyi kirã zuwã ga salla a rãnar Jumu'a, sai ku yi aiki zuwa ga ambaton Allah, kuma ku bar ciniki.
  O you who have believed, when [the adhān] is called for the prayer on the day of Jumuʿah [ Friday ], then proceed to the remembrance of Allāh and leave trade. --Quran/62/9
2. We went to the mosque on Friday. <> Mun je masallaci a ranar Jummah.
