  1. Taqwa (Arabic: تقوى‎‎ taqwā / taqwá ") is an Islamic term for being conscious and cognizant of Allah, of truth, of the rational reality, "piety, fear of God". [1] The care taken by a person to obey the commands of Allah. [2]
    1. And whoever fears Allah, he will make for him a way out. <> Kuma duk wanda ke da taqwa da tsoron Allah, zai masa mafita. --Quran/65/2
    2. It involves abstaining from eating, drinking, smoking and sexual relations from dawn to sunset, in the hopes that it will lead to greater "taqwa", or consciousness of God. [3]
