Central Theme of Suratul Yaseen <> Babban Jigon Surar

Acknowledge the inability of those other than Allah, and accept the ability, power and authority of Allah and accept Muhammad as His messenger, the Quran and the akhirah.

Bayanin ƙarfafan dalilai masu tabbatar da manzanci da kuma tashi bayan mutuwa.

Introduction to the Sura <> Mabuɗin Surar:

Sunanta: Ana kiran ta da suna Suratu* Yasin, watau da haruffan farko na cikinta. *Not sure if Suratu was a typo.
Its name: It goes by the name Suratul Yaseen, that is the first (2) letters of the sura. The Surah takes its name from the two letters of the alphabet with which it begins.
Sanda aka saukar da ita (time period of revelation): Malamai sun haɗu a kan cewa Sura ce Makkiyya kamar yadda Ibni Aɗiyya ya ambata a tafsirinsa.
A study of the style shows that it was either sent down during the last stage of the middle Makkan period, or it is one of those Surahs, which were sent down during the last stage of the Holy Prophet's stay at Makkah.
Jerin Saukarwa: ita ce Sura ta arba'in da ɗaya (41) a jerin saukar surorin Alƙur'ani. Ta sauka bayan Suratul Jinni gabanin Suratul Furƙan.
Adadin ayoyinta: Adadin ayoyinta tamanin da uku (83) a lissafin mutanen Kufa. Amma a lissafin sauran malamai, adadinta tamanin da biyu ne (82).
Falalarta: Babu wani hadisi na Manzon Allah SAW da ya inganta game da falalarta.
Babban Jigonta (kalli sama <> see central theme above): Bayanin ƙarfafan dalilai masu tabbatar da manzanci da kuma tashi bayan mutuwa.
Daga cikin abubuwan da ta ƙunsa akwai: <> The sura includes the following themes:
1. Nuna girman Alƙur'ani da gaskiyarsa da gaskiyar saƙon da ya zo da shi don ceton al'ummar Larabawa wadanda ba a aiko musu da wani manzo a baya ba.
  Show the greatness of the Qur'an and its truth and the truth of the message it brought to save the Arabs who were not previously sent a messenger.
2. Bayanin siffofin wadanda suka bijire wa Musulunci suka ƙi amfana da shiriyarsa sabanin mumunai masu tsoron Allah wadanda suka bi tafarki madaidaici.
  An explanation of the characteristics of those who resisted Islam and refused to benefit from its guidance, as opposed to God-fearing believers who followed the right path.
3. Kwatanta bangaren muminai wadanda suka gaskata Manzon Allah SAW da kuma bangaren kafirai masu ƙaryata shi, kwatanta su da mutanen alƙarya wadanda suka ƙaryata manzonsu da bayanin bangarorin biyu.
  Compare the group of believers who believe in the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, and the group of disbelievers who deny him.
4. Ba su misali, har ila yau, da al'ummun da Allah ya hallaka gabaninsu saboda sun ƙaryata annabawansu.
  Give them an example, also, of the nations that God destroyed before them because they denied their prophets.
5. Nuni zuwa ga manyan dalilai masu tabbatar da tashin alƙiyama. <> Points to the main signs affirming resurrection.
6. Bayanin wasu daga cikin ni'imomin Allah ga bayinsa masu nuna Ɗayantakarsa da cancantar a bauta masa shi kaɗai ba tare da shirka ba. <> An explanation of some of God's blessings to his servants that show his Oneness and the merit of worshiping him alone without any partners.

  1. Lallashin Manzon Allah (SAW) a kan ya ci gaba da haƙuri game da ƙaryatawar da mutanensa suke yi masa,
    The persuasion of the Messenger of God (PBUH) to continue to be patient with the denial of his people,
  2. ya kuma lura da cewa su waɗannan masu ƙaryata shi sun ƙaryata Ƙudurar Allah ma domin suna ganin ba zai iya dawo da su ba bayan sun mutu sun rududduge,
    and he should note that those who denied him also denied the will of God because they thought that He would not be able to bring them back after they die and wither away.
  3. tare da cewa suna ganin dalilai da hujjoji masu ƙarfi da suke tabbatar da yiwuwar tashin matacce bayan mutuwarsa.
    along with saying that they see strong reasons and proofs that confirm the possibility of resurrection after death.

Subject Matter and Theme

The object of the discourse is to warn the Quraish of the consequences of not believing in the Prophethood of Muhammad (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) and of resisting and opposing it with tyranny, ridicule and mockery.
Abin magana shi ne a gargadi Kuraishawa kan sakamakon laifin ƙin Annabcin Muhammadu SAW da tsayin daka da adawa da shi da zalunci da izgili da ba'a.
The aspect of the warning is dominant and conspicuous although along with repeatedly giving the warnings, arguments also have been given for the correct understanding by the people.
Sha'anin gargadin na da girma kuma bayyananne ne kuma duk da tare da maimaicin kashedun, mutanen sun bada hujjoji ga fahimtar daidai.
Arguments have been given for three things:
An bada hujjoji ga abubuwa uku:
1. For Tauhid [1], from the signs of the universe and from common sense;
  Domin tauhidi, daga alamun da ke sammai da kuma tunanin yau da kullun.
2. for the Hereafter, from the signs of the universe, from common sense and from man's own existence itself; and
  Domin Lahira, daga alamun da ke sammai da kuma tunanin yau da kullun da kasancewar ɗan Adam.
3. for the Prophethood of the Prophet Muhammad, from the fact that he was facing all kinds of hardships in the preaching of his message without any selfish motive,
  Domin Annabcin Annabi Muhammadu SAW, daga cewa ya yi fama da ire-iren wahalhalu a da'awar saƙonsa ba tare da son kai ba,
  and from this that whatever he was inviting the people to was rational and reasonable, accepting which was in the people's own interest.
  daga kuma wannan, duk abinda yake gayyaton mutane zuwa na da basira da hujja.

On the strength of these arguments, themes of reprobation, reproof and warning have been presented repeatedly in a highly forceful manner, so that hearts are shaken up and those which have any capacity for accepting the truth left in them should not remain unmoved.

Imam Ahmad, Abu Daud, Nasai, Ibn Majah and Tabarani have related on the authority of Hadrat Ma'qil bin Yasar that the Holy Prophet said:"Surah Ya Sin is the heart of the Qur'an."This is similar to describing the Surah Al Fatiha has the Umm al Qur'an (the essence or core of the Qur'an), because Al Fatihah contains the sum and substance of the teaching of the whole Quran. The Surah Ya Sin has been called the throbbing heart of the Qur'an because it presents the message of the Qur'an in a most forceful manner, which breaks the inertness and stirs the spirit of man to action.

Again Imam Ahmad, Aba Da'ud and Ibn Majah have related from the same Ma'qil bin Yasar that the Holy Prophet said: "Recite Surah Ya Sin to the dying ones among you." The object is not only to revive and refresh the whole Islamic creed in the mind of the dying person but also bring before him, in particular, a complete picture of the Hereafter so that he may know what stages he would have to pass through after crossing the stage of this worldly life. In view of this, it would be desirable that along with the recitation of the Surah Ya Sin its translation also is made for the benefit of the person who does not know Arabic so that the purpose of the admonition is duly fulfilled.
